Connect your sources.
Aurelia connects the marketing, commerce and customer tools you already use as read-only sources. Each maps to an Airbyte connector that replicates history into your workspace’s isolated warehouse namespace.
What a source is
A source is a connection to one external system — your store, an ad platform, your analytics or CRM. Aurelia reads from it on a schedule and lands the raw data in your tenant-isolated Postgres namespace. Access is read-only: Aurelia never writes back to the connected tool.
Every source maps to a managed Airbyte connector, so authentication, incremental syncs and schema handling are taken care of for you. From there the data flows into the medallion pipeline — see See the gold layer.
Supported sources
Start with a revenue source plus at least one paid-media source. You can add the rest at any time.
| Source | Category | What it brings |
|---|---|---|
| Shopify | Store | Orders, customers, products & refunds |
| Meta Ads | Paid media | Facebook & Instagram spend and delivery |
| Google Ads | Paid media | Search, Performance Max & shopping spend |
| TikTok Ads | Paid media | TikTok campaign spend and delivery |
| Klaviyo | Email / SMS | Flows, campaigns and engagement events |
| Google Analytics 4 | Web analytics | Sessions, sources and conversions |
| HubSpot | CRM | Contacts, companies, lifecycle stages & deals |
| Intercom | Customer support | Users, conversations, tags & engagement |
How the connection flow works
- 1Choose a sourcePick a tool from the connectors above. We recommend connecting a revenue source (for example Shopify) plus one paid-media source first.
- 2Authorize accessSign in to the tool through its secure OAuth flow (or provide API credentials). Aurelia only requests read scopes.
- 3Aurelia provisions the connectionBehind the scenes Aurelia creates the Airbyte source and a connection to your warehouse destination — no infrastructure to manage.
- 4History replicatesYour historical data backfills, then keeps up to date on a daily sync. Once data lands, dbt shapes it into the gold marts your dashboards read.
Where to connect
You’ll connect your first sources during onboarding (Step 2 · Data foundation), and you can manage them any time from Connections inside the app — add new sources, check sync status, or disconnect.
